Across South Lombok, hundreds of people already collect plastic — from beaches, roadsides and village dumps — because someone, somewhere, will pay for it. The problem has always been who, how much, and when. Prices swing, buyers vanish, and a week's work can be worth nothing.
Honest MADE fixes the buyer side. We publish a board price per kilogram by polymer, guarantee it for twelve months, and pay every week. 320 collectors now bring their plastic to the Kuta hub, and the network keeps growing village by village.
At the hub, every load is weighed on arrival, sorted by polymer on the sorting line, and baled. Each bale gets a batch ID recorded in the ops portal, with the collection points GPS-mapped — which is what makes the material eligible as ocean-bound plastic and lets a GRS chain-of-custody certificate travel with it to Antwerp.
Clean, sorted PET and HDPE goes to our certified recycling partners for the resin Honest Ocean sells in Europe. PP and mixed polymers feed the Honest MADE furniture and tile line. Nothing usable is burned or buried.
